Apple Music is Apple’s subscription-based music streaming service, offering over 100 million songs, spatial audio, lossless quality, and integration across all Apple devices. Plans start at $5.99/month for students and $10.99/month for individuals, with a Family plan at $16.99/month for up to six people. Apple Music Refund Policy
Apple does not typically provide prorated refunds when you cancel an Apple Music subscription mid-period. Instead, your access continues until the end of the billing cycle and you will not be charged for the next period. However, Apple does have a standard refund request process for qualifying situations. To request a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Apple Music charge, and click Report a Problem. Refunds may be granted for accidental or unauthorized charges, free trial to paid conversions if requested promptly, and annual plan partial refunds for unused months in some cases. Apple reviews refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Things to Know Before You Cancel
Downloaded music will become unplayable. Any songs you downloaded for offline listening through Apple Music will no longer be accessible once your subscription ends. They are licensed content, not files you own.
Music purchased from iTunes is not affected. Songs you actually purchased from iTunes remain in your library and can still be played after cancelling Apple Music.
iCloud Music Library sync stops. Apple Music uses iCloud Music Library to sync across devices. After cancelling, this sync feature stops for Apple Music content, though your personally uploaded tracks may still be accessible.
Apple One bundle consideration. If you subscribe to Apple One, cancelling removes the entire bundle including Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and iCloud+ storage. Consider switching to a lower tier instead.
Cancel before the trial ends. If you are in a free trial and want to avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Your playlists remain visible. Playlists you created will remain in your library, but Apple Music catalog tracks in them will not be playable. Purchased or uploaded tracks will still work.
Family plan affects all members. Only the family organizer can cancel the Family plan. Cancelling ends access for all family members at the end of the billing period.
