Pandora is a popular internet radio and music streaming service available in the United States. Originally known for its Music Genome Project-driven radio stations, Pandora now offers Pandora Plus and Pandora Premium subscription tiers in addition to its free ad-supported radio service. Pandora subscriptions can be billed directly through Pandora’s website, through Apple, through Google Play, or through wireless carrier partnerships. Plans start at $4.99/month for Pandora Plus and go up to $17.99/month for the Premium Family plan. If you see a charge from Pandora on your bank or credit card statement, it is usually your monthly music subscription. Below, you will find the exact steps to cancel Pandora on any billing platform.
How to Cancel Pandora Through the Website
If you subscribed on pandora.com and pay Pandora directly, this is the standard and most reliable cancellation path.
How to Cancel Pandora on Apple (iPhone / iPad)
If your Pandora charge appears from Apple or iTunes on your credit card statement, you subscribed through the App Store. Therefore, you must cancel through Apple Subscriptions instead of through Pandora.
How to Cancel Pandora on Google Play (Android)
If Pandora charges on your bank statement show Google Play as the merchant, you must cancel through the Google Play Store. Pandora cannot cancel Google-billed subscriptions directly.
How to Cancel Pandora Through Carrier Billing
Pandora has partnered with wireless carriers to offer bundled subscriptions. If Pandora charges appear on your phone bill rather than your credit card, you must cancel through your carrier.
Difficulty
Cancelling Pandora is straightforward. The website offers a clear cancellation path through account settings, and the process typically takes just a few clicks. The main thing to watch for is ensuring you cancel through the correct billing platform. If Apple, Google Play, or your carrier is billing you, you must cancel through that platform rather than through pandora.com.
Estimated Time
On average, it takes 0005 minutes to cancel a Pandora subscription.

Pandora Refund Policy
Pandora’s standard refund policy does not include prorated refunds for unused portions of a subscription period after cancellation. Instead, your access continues until the billing period ends, and no further charges occur. However, refund requests may be evaluated in certain circumstances, including accidental or duplicate charges, free trial to paid conversions if requested promptly, and unauthorized billing. Contact Pandora support through the Help Center at help.pandora.com if you believe you were charged in error. For Apple-billed subscriptions, submit refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play allows refund requests within 48 hours through the Google Play Help Center. Annual plan cancellations do not automatically trigger refunds for unused months.

Things to Know Before You Cancel
Identify your billing source. Check your bank or credit card statement to confirm whether you are billed by Pandora directly, Apple, Google Play, or a carrier. Cancel through the correct platform or the charges will continue.
Your account reverts to Pandora Free. After canceling, you still have access to Pandora’s free internet radio service with ads and skip limits. You do not lose access to Pandora entirely.
Offline downloads will stop working. Music downloaded for offline listening through Pandora Plus or Premium will no longer play after your subscription ends.
On-demand playback ends with Premium. If you cancel Premium, you lose the ability to search and play any song on demand. Pandora Free is radio-style only.
Family plan cancellation affects all members. If you are the owner of a Pandora Premium Family plan, canceling will end access for all members in the group at the end of the billing period.
Annual plan timing. If you are on an annual plan, canceling stops the auto-renewal but does not refund unused months. Your access continues until the annual term expires.
Playlist and station data remains. Your created stations, playlists, and thumbs up/down song feedback remain in your account on the free tier after canceling.
